Charles River Park Reservation

Description: Twenty miles long, the Charles River Park Reservation maintains bike paths, pedestrian paths, playgrounds, athletic fields, and some of the best views of Boston and Cambridge. It is mostly flat, with extensively paved paths. The Dr. Paul Dudley Bike path makes an 18-mile loop from Science Park to Watertown Square. Concerts and public events often take place at the Hatch Shell.

Dog-friendly Notice: Service dogs are permitted on the MBTA at all times. Otherwise, dogs are not permitted during peak hours. Peak hours run from 7-10am and 4-7pm on weekdays. More Information
