Fresh Pond

Description: A two and a half mile wooded path surrounds Fresh Pond, Cambridge's source of drinking water. There are a few hills, but it is mostly flat. Its paths often run busy with joggers, walkers, dog owners, and bike riders. Well-behaved, well-attended dogs with Cambridge licenses are permitted off-leash.
