Lynn Woods Reservation

Lynn, MA

Website

Description: Lynn Woods Reservation entices with scenic trails, multiple reservoirs, rose gardens, and tall tales behind cryptic sites. An old door in Dungeon Rock leads deep into the earth. The Wolf Pits' original purpose remains a mystery. The Stone Tower, on Burrell hill at 285 feet, gives access to 360 degree views of the Boston and Lynn harbor. Its extensive roads and paths are unpaved. The detailed maps available at the Pennybrook Rd entrance are recommended. It would be wise to pack snacks.
